Dental Health Spa

New patient consultation is a complete assessment of dental health. X-rays and a full treatment plan are provided. An annual recall date will be discussed and you will have the opportunity to book your first treatment. The consultation includes mouth cancer screening and a full mouth review for hygiene treatments which last 3 years.

Mouth Cancer screening - £20

More people die of mouth cancer than testicular or cervical cancer. It kills one person every five hours in the UK and affects more people than testicular and ovarian cancer combined. Treatment for mouth cancer has a far higher rate of success if the cancer is detected early. In order to raise awareness of this cancer and to help you spot the signs earlier, we offer mouth cancer screening at just £20 – £1 from every screen is donated to Mouth Cancer Awareness.

If you are anxious about seeing a dentist for a standard check up but would like to be screened for mouth cancer then book in to see one of our friendly dentists. They will do nothing more than just the screening to put your mind at ease. Do not be afraid, get it checked out. Nationally Mouth Cancer is in the top ten of most commonly diagnosed cancers accounting for more than 7, 800 new cases per year.

Veneers - from £450

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain made to fit over the front surface of a tooth, like a false fingernail fits over a nail. They can cover worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing and chips or cracks.

They improve the colour, shape and can be used to improve the position of the tooth in your mouth creating a brighter, whiter smile.

Crowns - from £550

A crown is like a jacket that encases a tooth and they can be made in a number of materials dependant on the strength required, and the look wanted. They are suggested when a tooth is broken or a large filling needs replacing. A crown can also be used to improve the appearance of a large discoloured filling. The crown preparation is sent to a laboratory where the skill of the technician is paramount in creating a tooth in one of three materials.

The main choices of materials are:

Porcelain bonded to precious metal: This is what most crowns are made from. A precious metal base is made and then porcelain is applied in layers over it.

Porcelain crowns: These crowns are made entirely out of porcelain and are not as strong as bonded crowns, but they can look very natural and are most often used for front teeth.

All-ceramic crowns: This modern technique offers a metal-free alternative, which can give the strength of a bonded crown and the appearance of a porcelain crown. Therefore it is suitable for use in all areas of the mouth.

Glass: These crowns look very natural and are used on both front and back teeth.

Inlays - from £450

Inlays replace fillings within the biting surface of a tooth. These are made in conjunction with a laboratory and your dentist. They are specially made out of porcelain or gold and fit like a jigsaw piece into the shape of the filling.

Bridges - from £495 per unit

Bridges are used to fill the gaps of missing teeth and are only possible if the tooth is strong enough and has good enough bone support. Bridges are made in the laboratory following preparation work done by your dentist in the surgery. They are usually made out of porcelain bonded onto precious metal. There are also new bridges made entirely of a special type of strong porcelain.

Implants from £1400

A dental implant is essentially a substitute for a natural root and commonly it is screw or cylinder shaped. Once fitted, these components provide the foundation for long-term support of crowns, bridges or dentures. Indistinguishable from natural teeth, they provide reliable alternatives to uncomfortable dentures or bridgework, or a single implant can simply replace a single missing tooth. For more information

Root Canal Therapy - from £275

RCT cleans and disinfects the canal of the tooth from the inside. The canals are then filled to prevent the infection from recurring. An alternative to RCT is extraction.

Signs that you might need a RCT:

  • Minimal to severe pain
  • Tooth discolouration
  • Swelling and irritation in the surrounding gum tissue
  • Signs of infection visible on an x-ray

Composite Bonding from £80

A white filling material can be added to the teeth to create a fuller look.

Using a special composite bonding technique, your dentist can close these gaps improving the integrity of the gum and the appearance of your smile. This s a minimally invasive & cost effective treatment, no injections needed. These gaps are filled with a composite ( highly polished white filling materials) matched to the shade of your teeth. This is then shaped and polished to give a beautiful shine that is smooth to the touch.

Fissure Sealants- £40 per tooth

Fissure sealants are plastic coats that are applied to the biting surface of your back teeth, like a nail varnish that coats the surfaces and protects them from bacteria and decay. They are normally applied to children’s teeth when their first molars come through at the age of six but can be applied to adult teeth as well.

Dentures - from £250

Tooth replacement for the upper or lower jaws. Dentures are custom-made to fit the specific oral measurements and condition. The appearance of dentures will also be bespoke to your smile, so your new teeth will look completely natural.

Cfast anterior orthodontics - from £2150

Cfast was designed as an adult orthodontic system to create a significant improvement in the appearance of the patient’s teeth. This is done discreetly, with minimal discomfort and without significantly changing any biting position.

By focusing on just the front six teeth – “the social six” that make up most of the visible smile, we can usually complete treatment in around 4-6 months. Unique aspects of the treatment include, clear brackets and tooth coloured wires which are barely visible, low forces and short overall treatment time provide a gentle solution which is relatively less expensive than other treatments.

Holly Willoughby is one of the celebrities who opted for the Cfast treatment to achieve her beautiful smile.

Advantages include:

  • Incredibly fast treatment with results in only 4 to 6 months.
  • Discreet tooth-coloured wires and brackets only noticeable close up.
  • In the majority of cases, no tooth extractions are necessary; the correction is made to the ‘smiling teeth’ rather than the whole bite.

Laser Gum Disinfection (Periowave) - from £140

We are one of the few clinics in Sussex to offer Periowave. Periowave is a technology that works to kill the bacteria associated with periodontal diseases by utilising a non-thermal laser light, combined with a photosensitising solution. It is painless (no injections required), quick, effective and most importantly, safe.
